Drugs and weapons seized by police in Napanee

On the evening of September 6, 2018 officers with the Community Street Crime Unit of Napanee, Frontenac and Prince Edward County executed a warrant on Petri Street in the Town of Greater Napanee. This was the second warrant executed at this residence since June 2018.

Police located two sawed off shotguns, drugs and stolen property within the residence.

Charged is Alysha Bourdeau, a 24 year old female from Napanee, and Josh Pero, a 27 year old male from Napanee.

Bourdeau is charged with;

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin
  • Two Counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioids
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Marihuana
  • Two Counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  • Two Counts of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Knowledge of unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Possession of a Firearm obtained by Crime
  • Assaulting a Peace Officer
  • Two failing to comply with a firearms prohibition
  • Failing to comply with a Bail Order

Pero is charged with;

  • Six counts of failing to comply with a firearms prohibition
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin
  • Two Counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioids
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Marihuana
  • Two Counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  • Two Counts of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Knowledge of unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Possession of a Firearm obtained by Crime

The accused were held at Napanee Detachment for the night and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice today for a bail hearing.
