Kingston Police continue to investigate serious motorcycle collision

The Kingston Police Traffic Unit continues to investigate a serious collision that occurred on June 17, 2018 at approximately 3:50 p.m. between a passenger car and motorcycle on Highway 2, east of Kingston and near the west entrance to Faircrest Boulevard.

Kingston Police, Frontenac Paramedics and Kingston Fire and Rescue responded. The motorcyclist was transported to hospital by ambulance with serious head injuries.

The roadway was closed from approximately 5:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. while Kingston Police Traffic Unit Reconstructionist Officers investigated. Traffic Sergeant Keuhl utilized the Kingston Police UAV to map the scene and assist with the on-going investigation.

The motorcyclist remains in hospital in serious condition. The occupant of the passenger car was not seriously hurt.

Kingston Police say that charges are unknown at this time.
