On Tuesday July 17, 2018 at approximately 6:30 a.m. officers with the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a transport roll-over on the eastbound off-ramp of Highway 401 at County Road 4 in Camden East.
The Greenwood Paving tractor-trailer, hauling 1500 gallons of coal tar, rolled over as it exited the highway.
The Ministry of Environment will be attending to access the leakage from the collision.
Loyalist Fire department is on scene as well to assist with the investigation, which is ongoing at this time.
The male driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries. OPP say that speed was a factor in the roll-over.
The eastbound exit at County Road 4 is expected to be closed most of the day.
